Star Wars: The Clone Wars

Okay. Half my house is covered in star wars merch. Action figures, Dolls, and micro machines; wall to wall. I have a Yoda tattoo on my chest. So please take this review with a grain of salt, as it is personal to me.

So it seems like George Lucas is in the process of handing his empire over to his youngest daughter, R2-Y.

From the sheer applause of 6-10 year old girls in the audience, I'm guessing my generation has ben bypassed in place of a new one. Star Wars is no longer being made for me any more. That has been evident from he point Darth Vader screamed "Noooooooooo" in episode three.

Perhaps I'm just bitter at the fact that Obi One's droid could scare off a Jawa attack with one tiny spark, whereas the mighty artoo was kidnapped in episode IV by the same band of scavengers.
What happened to his rockets?
How could he demolish 2 heavy duty battle droids in episode III and then be picked off by a cowardice band of Jawas in episode IV?

Erase the protocol droid's memory! That will solve all our continuity problems!

Anyways;
All the reviews about this piece of crap are true. It IS a bad ad for the video game. It IS juvenile. It has NO plot.

Ziro the Hutt is as embarrassing as Jar Jar. Somebody hasn't learned from his mistakes in episode I.

C-3PO is reduced to a mere cameo. A sad state for the most dedicated Star Wars actor of all time.

Admitted, Ahsoka Tano was a cool rip-off of Shaak Ti, (whom Mr Lucas obviously has a fetish for). Her "backward" lightsaber style was a treat for fans who actually train in this unique fighting method (such as myself).

Where is General Grievous? Why are the invincible and brutal IG assassin droids reduced to sniveling cowards? How did the baby Hutts get so cute? What happened to John Williams?

All are questions beyond my comprehension.

This worthless installment of useless VG garbage makes for a poor movie. Period.
Nothing happens and it is a prequel of which we know the results already.

Mr Lucas should obviously lay down his hash pipe and pick up some blank storyboards.

May the force be with us all (the true fans)!

I recommend you to see new Star Trek movie. It´s much more sophisticated than those "new generation digital" Star Wars movies.

Thanks for the review. I had a haunch that it would be one of those films that screws up all things authentic.
